Myp2s About Us

Many kids and adults have been using internet websites like “Facebook”
and “Myspace” to connect and make new friends.  Sometimes those sites
are not the BEST places to hang out!  Here at www.myp2s.com our goal
is to provide some great features that will make surfing the web a
better experience.  The site offers free stuff and news about events
and opportunities that youth will want to get involved in.

The website is designed to create a POSITIVE space for youth and their
families in metro Detroit.  Youth are encouraged to present their most
positive self on the site and visit often to find out about
opportunities and news that will help them be their very best.

Some of myp2s features:
- “Social Networking” similar to popular sites
- Create your own profile, add photos and more (upload pictures, poems
or essays, things like that...)
- An opportunity to get the free music download “Single of the Week”
- Excellent “How To” videos on many different subjects
- New Music Videos added weekly
- Rewards for doing good stuff in the community
- “Live News Feed” information about events, job opportunities and more

Very soon this site will provide a reward system for good stuff you
do- achievements, volunteer work in the community.
Some examples would be:
- doing something really good in school
- winning an award
- helping a non-profit organization at an event or function

We will be adding opportunities that include free after-school
programs or teen related events and concerts, free use of computers,
summer job opportunities, and, college fairs and scholarship
opportunities and competitions- EVERY WEEK.

“How To” videos with instructions and advice for aspiring artists and
music lovers in general will also be included.  The blog “How to Make
Your Own CD” is scheduled to become a video to be posted soon.

You never know, there could be something there that you would never
expect!  Our advice: bookmark this site and check back twice a week
for the latest in what you’re looking for!
